Skills shortage adds to jobs woe

The number of people claiming unemployment benefit rose by 24,500 in June - the biggest increase in the figure for two years - despite a drop in the unemployment figures.

And while many areas of the country are suffering from too many people looking for too few jobs, some places are struggling to find workers with the right skills.
