Campaign launched to show how much petrol duty we pay


A campaign has been launched to highlight the amount consumers pay to the government in fuel duty.

The Taxpayers' Alliance claims it is as much as 60% so signs will be put up on forecourts at independent filling stations and drivers are being encouraged to write to their MP.

Brian Madderson, chairman of the Petrol Retailers Association that has joined forces with the Taxpayers' Alliance, spoke to 5 liveMorning Reports.
