A new chief executive has taken the wheel at the struggling music chain HMV.

Trevor Moore, who until recently ran the camera maker, Jessops, faces the challenge of turning the high-street-based chain into a business that can tough it out with cut-throat online competition.

When his predecessor Simon Fox was in charge for six years, HMV shares lost 98% of their value.

5 liveWake Up To Money asked retail analyst John Stevenson from Peel Hunt what he thought the main challenges would be for the new boss.
