Dream jobs: Send us your advice on video

Upload your video explaining how you embarked on your career, like Anna Claesson featured here.

Although millions of young people around the world are searching desperately for a job there are many who have bucked the unemployment trend and have successfully taken their first step on the career ladder.

As part of a series of features about global youth unemployment we are looking for inspiring young people who actually managed to land their dream job.

If that sounds like you, we want your videos explaining how you got your big break and your advice to others still searching for work.

You can upload your videos, email them to yourpics@bbc.co.uk or tweet it to us @BBC_HaveYourSay with the hashtag #dreamjob telling us:

  • Your name, age and the country you live in and are from, if different
  • What you always wanted to do for a living
  • What troubles or barriers you faced getting there
  • How you got your break
  • What you are doing now
  • And, the one bit of advice you would give to others who are looking for their dream job

We want to try to include as many people as possible, so make sure your videos - which can be filmed on your phones or cameras - are short and to the point.

We would need your videos by 18 November.

Your videos could be shown on the BBC website and TV. If you are happy to take part in this project please fill in the form below. Please label your videos: Dream Job and include your details.
