HMV bosses in talks with banks over poor trading figures

HMV has posted worse-than-expected pre-Christmas trading figures and is in talks with banks over its future.

It is the first set of figures since Trevor Moore took over as boss in September.

The total group loss after tax and exceptional items came to £34.7m, which is less than last year when they suffered a loss of £38.8m.

BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast asked Lisa Byfield Green, an analyst at Planet Retail, where the company goes from here.
