Drive for golf tourism gathers pace in Tunisia

The tourism sector in Tunisia's economy saw visitor numbers fall by 40% in the year after the revolution, but help could be on hand from a sporting quarter.

Golf players spend more than other tourists and keep the hotels full in the winter months.

Promoters of golfing holidays are now urging the government to press on with plans to build more courses.
