Help

China's new leader, Xi Jinping, is getting ready to leave for Russia later this week.

It will be his first overseas trip since taking office.

Mr Xi officially became President last week, and as John Sudworth reports from Beijing, the landmark visit is part of China's aim to cement Sino-Russian relations and become a bigger player on the world stage.
