Patent dilemma for India drugs firms

India introduced a new patent law in 2005, under which several multinational pharmaceutical firms have been denied protection for their medicines.

This has lead to a debate about whether regulations need to be stronger in order to encourage innovation - but where do Indian manufacturers stand on the matter?
