UK unemployment falls by 57,000

The number of people out of work in the UK has fallen by 57,000 to 2.51m, the lowest unemployment level since last autumn.

But unions are calling the number of people out of work for more than a year, now at a 17-year-high of almost one million, a "waste of human talent".
