June boost for UK manufacturing as jobs return to Britain

Manufacturing output surged in June at the strongest pace since the end of 2010, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

July's heatwave also gave the economy a boost following the highest July temperatures for years,.

Retail sales enjoyed their fastest growth for a July in seven years, sales grew by over 2 percent compared with the same month last year.
