Australia's effort to attract Middle Eastern tourists

When it comes to competing for the lucrative Middle Eastern tourism market, Australia knows it faces stiff competition.

As BBC reporter Simon Atkinson discovered, getting ahead can mean investing in prayer rooms, segregated cafes and Arabic-speaking staff.

He starts his reports from the hills above the Gold Coast in eastern Australia.
