How can India compete with US Ivy League universities?

There is concern in India over the latest rankings of the world's best universities - not one Indian institution appears in the top 100, or even the top 200.

The fact has not escaped the attention of Indian students, many of whom head for the US each year to pursue their studies.

So what can be done to stop the brain drain? Neil Heathcote reports.
