Twitter shares priced at $26 each

7 November 2013 Last updated at 02:16 GMT

Shares in Twitter have been priced at $26 each valuing the company at more than $18bn (£11bn).

That makes it the biggest market debut for a technology firm since Facebook went public in May 2012.

More than 500 million tweets are shared each day by users of the online communication service, but the company has never made a profit.

The shares are due to start trading on Thursday.
