At China's Qianhai special economic zone

China is spending around $45bn to develop a special economic zone at Qianhai.

The city in Southern China has been earmarked as a key area to boost cross-border trade with Hong Kong.

The development is due for completion by 2020 but much remains to be done, as the BBC's Juliana Liu reports.
