Gulf airlines try to avert projected pilot shortage

Middle Eastern airlines have placed orders for hundreds of new passenger planes as the region becomes an aviation hub.

With a potential pilot shortage on the horizon, Gulf carriers want to recruit and train their own nationals to fill some of those jobs.
