Acer sees turnaround through phone and tablet sales

Business for computer makers has been slow with Taiwanese computer maker, Acer, seeing shipments fall nearly 35% in the last quarter.

As part of Acer's effort to reinvent itself, the company's founder Stan Shih has come out of retirement to lead the company - without receiving a salary.

Cindy Sui reports that he plans to rescue the company by pushing sales of smartphones and tablets, and spending more money on research.
