Happy days as new musical takes new approach to funding

25 December 2013 Last updated at 10:36 GMT

A new musical version of Happy Days is the first major theatrical production to be backed through "equity crowdfunding" which promises a share of the profits, according to its producer Amy Anzel.

Original Fonz Henry Winkler is the show's creative consultant, while former Emmerdale actor Ben Freeman takes his part and Cheryl Baker of Bucks Fizz also stars.

Tony Bonsignore met the cast and crew during rehearsals at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.
