Deep sea mining for rare earth minerals

Rare earth minerals are in great demand for their use in electronics from televisions to smart phones - putting a strain on existing supply chains.

However, there is a now a new frontier in the rush for valuable minerals - the bottom of the sea.

Nick Davis reports from Jamaica, which is home to the organisation which controls the new industry.
