A decade of development in the Indian state of Bihar

Bihar in north-east India was once renowned for being amongst the poorest and most underdeveloped states in the country.

With few jobs on offer, many of its people migrated to try to make a living elsewhere.

But over the past 10 years, there has been a change.

Yogita Limaye speaks to people living in Bihar, and to others who left it for work elsewhere in India.
