Who is India's new finance minister?

Narendra Modi's party swept to power in India's election on the promise of reviving the country's economy.

Now one man has the perhaps unenviable job of making that happen.

Arun Jaitley is India's new finance minister, and he's put boosting economic growth at the top of his list of priorities. He's well-known as a close ally and friend of the new prime minister.

From India's financial hub, Mumbai, the BBC's Sameer Hashmi tells us more about Mr Jaitley's background.
