How handmade goods are changing manufacturing in New York

The "millennials" are the generation that came of age after the 2008 financial crisis.

Members of the "millennial generation" in New York are now building successful businesses selling items that are handmade.

Old factory buildings and warehouses are now home to hundreds of smaller manufacturing businesses.

Many "millennials" are starting out making handmade products from their own apartment.
