Qatar looks for economic boost from education

The Gulf state of Qatar has just played host to a major education summit.

The global gathering saw experts come together to discuss ways to improve education around the world, not only to benefit students, but also to promote wider economic development.

The summit was just the latest attempt by this small but wealthy nation to put itself on the educational map.

But does spending big in education always give better results?
