What is stopping girls going into science and technology?

The government wants to encourage growth in science and technology, but a study in 2013 suggested that 40,000 more graduates are needed every year.

Research from the campaign group ScienceGrrl says breaking down cultural hurdles in the classroom to get more girls interested in the subjects at school could provide the answer.
