Voting is under way as polling stations across Gloucestershire open for both the general and local elections.

Constituents in six areas are choosing who they want representing them in London, and every council except Cheltenham is holding a local election.

All councillors in Cotswolds, Tewkesbury and the Forest of Dean are being chosen with a third being elected in Stroud and Gloucester.

Polling stations are open from 07:00 BST to 22:00 BST.

Results for the general elections and the local election in Stroud are expected early on Friday with the rest of the local election results due in the afternoon.
