Election 2016: Polling stations close across Lancashire

Polling stations have closed across Lancashire after ballots were held in a number of councils.

Votes have been cast in local elections in Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Chorley, Hyndburn, Pendle, Preston, Rossendale and West Lancashire.

Voters across the county were also asked to choose their police and crime commissioner.

Results are due to be declared on Friday. Across England, elections have been held for more than 120 councils.
