Election 2016: Polling stations close in Bristol

Polling stations have shut for the elections being held in Bristol.

Votes have been cast to elect the mayor of Bristol, Bristol City Council councillors and Avon and Somerset's police and crime commissioner (PCC).

Results from the PCC election will be announced on Friday, with the mayor and local councillor results following on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Elections are taking place for more than 120 councils across England and to elect mayors in four cities.
