Gary Barlow and Robbie Williams will perform their new single Shame together on the first Strictly Come Dancing live show in October, the BBC has announced.

The pair, who fell out after Williams left Take That in 1995, performed together for the first time in 12 years at Sunday's Help For Heroes concert.

The singers are due to release their single two days after their appearance on the show.

The eighth series began on Saturday with the new celebrity line-up.

Magician Paul Daniels and actress Patsy Kensit are competing in the show, along with ex-England goalkeeper Peter Shilton, rugby player Gavin Henson and DJ-turned-actor Goldie.
