Help

Classic Brit Award winner Alison Balsom says she first fell in love with the trumpet as a child.

The trumpet soloist, who picked up Female Artist of the Year at the Classic Brit Awards in 2011, is releasing her new album.

She told BBC Breakfast that she believes the trumpet deserves to be at the forefront of an orchestra.

Balsom also performed Nobody Knows the Trouble I See from her new album Seraph: Trumpet Concertos.
