Beach Boys: 'We want to keep the legacy alive'

Help

The Beach Boys have begun their 50th anniversary tour in Arizona with surviving original band members Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine.

They will be joined on their world tour with band members David Marks and Bruce Johnston.

Jardine said he is enjoying re-discovering the music.

He said: "When you're recording three albums a year, as we did in the early days, it's yesterday's news.

You're on to the next thing. Boom. That stuff gets parked somewhere though, and now it's becoming unveiled again."
