Alison Balsom celebrates the 'renaissance of trumpet'

Young trumpet maestro Alison Balsom is one of the most remarkable classical music soloists on the international stage and she is helping bring the instrument back to the forefront of concert performance.

At the Royal Academy of Music in London, she has been speaking to BBC's David Hannah about the renewed status of the trumpet and her next project - Jazz.
