Holliday Grainger's preparations for Great Expectations

A host of British talent are starring in the new adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations - including Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Jeremy Irvine and rising star Holliday Grainger.

Grainger told BBC Breakfast that she was writing an essay about Dickens when she auditioned for the role of Estella in the film.

The actress has managed to juggle the demands of filming and studying and has completed a first class honours degree in English.
