Nicole Kidman on her career greats and personal pain


Nicole Kidman has told BBC Breakfast that her Oscar win in 2003 for her role as Virginia Woolf in The Hours collided with a painful time in her life.

Ten years on, the Australian actress says she is a "work in progress" and is coming to terms with being "awkwardly shy".

The star spoke to Charlie Stayt about her new role in the Hitchcock-style horror, Stoker.
