The British Museum is showcasing a major exhibition about the people who lived in the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

More than 250 archaeological remains are on display recovered from the two cities on Italy's southern coast which were buried following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD79.
