Inside the new Library of Birmingham

Birmingham's huge new library is preparing to open, after an investment of about £189m.

The new building, which replaces the Central Library, houses a collection of more than 400,000 publicly available books and contains social and research spaces.

But is such a big investment in "old media" wise in the digital age?
