Lennox: We need older women in music

Singer and songwriter Annie Lennox has received a music industry trust award. Lennox was awarded for her outstanding contribution to British music and for her charity work.

Lennox had a hugely successful solo career after her debut album "Diva" launched in 1990.

She formed a duo with Dave Stewart called Eurythmics and went on to sell more than 75 million records worldwide.
