Crow on returning to her country roots

3 February 2014 Last updated at 15:49 GMT

Singer Sheryl Crow has been making music for the last two decades, touring the world with her Grammy-winning hit records, all a long way from her home state of Missouri.

But for her latest album, Feel Like Home, she has returned to her musical roots, producing a country-inspired song.

It may also have something to do with her personal life, as she has settled in the country music capital Nashville, to raise her family.

She spoke to BBC Breakfast about her new music, being a mother and how beating breast cancer changed her life.
