Spitting Image creator John Lloyd: 'Television lacks satire'

Political reporter Ross Hawkins speaks to Spitting Image producer John Lloyd, Private Eye editor Ian Hislop and Michael Deacon of the Daily Telegraph about the 30th anniversary of Spitting Image.

The series featured puppet caricatures of famous figures, including Margaret Thatcher, and it was the first programme to caricature Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother.
