Unlocking the mysteries of the earth

James Lovelock is the 94 year old scientist behind the Gaia hypothesis, which claims that the earth is a self regulating, single organism.

He has evolved his theory over 35 years and is now publishing Rough Ride to the Future .

The BBC's Nick Higham talked to him about what he believes the future holds.
