Harlem Apollo Theatre celebrates 80th birthday

The Apollo Theatre in Harlem, which launched the careers of James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald and Michael Jackson, is celebrating its 80th birthday.

Apollo theatre historian and tour guide Billy Mitchell began working at the venue 49 years ago running errands.

He told BBC Radio 5 live's Up All Night about the star-studded history of the theatre.
