28 August 2014 Last updated at 06:13 BST

He's best known for his portrayal as the cool and commanding Don Draper in Mad Men - but actor Jon Hamm is keen to shake off his bad boy image.

The 43 year old played the iconic character for almost eight years and racked up 12 Emmy nominations in the process.

Despite the show's stunning success, Hamm says he's ready for a new challenge. He's even grown a beard and has accepted a role as a "good guy" in his latest project "Million Dollar Arm".

He told the BBC's Naga Munchetty: "All good things must come to an end."
