Bill Bailey and Tinie Tempah front iPlayer shows

Comedian Bill Bailey and rapper Tinie Tempah among big names fronting 16 new shows exclusively available on BBC iPlayer.

To mark Valentine's Day, Bill Bailey will feature in the series Funny Valentine, alongside other comics including Matt Berry and Sara Pascoe.

The series brings their unique take on the international day of love.

Tinie Tempah will present a tour of the V&A museum's retrospective of the late designer Alexander McQueen.

The iPlayer content will range from comedy, art, fashion and drama.

Abbey Clancy will return to the iPlayer, taking an in-depth look at this year's London Fashion Week.

Following on from the success of Original Drama Shorts in 2014, the iPlayer will offer a second season of three shorts in collaboration with BBC Three.

Private View is an iPlayer strand which opens the doors to blockbuster art exhibitions across the UK, fronted by contemporary artists and personalities.

Speaking about the commissions, Victoria Jaye, head of TV Content for BBC iPlayer said: "BBC iPlayer presents a huge creative opportunity to push boundaries of storytelling and engage audiences in new ways."

The iPlayer had its biggest year yet in 2014 with 3.5 billion requests for TV and radio programmes, up from 3.1 billion in 2013.
