Brian Eno composes 'calming' hospital music

Help

The latest project by composer and musician Brian Eno has a very low-key setting - in a hospital in the south of England.

The privately-run Montefiore Hospital in Hove has opened The Quiet Room, which contains Eno's trademark ambient music and three panels of subtly changing colours.

The idea is that it should be a cocoon for people who want to escape the hospital environment.

This is an excerpt from the soundtrack for The Quiet Room.
