Proud daughter's letter to encourage organ donors

Help

In February last year Gary Robertson died from a brain aneurysm on what would have been his 39th birthday.

He was on the donor register and allowed his organs to be used after his death, which led to four lives being saved.

In a bid to encourage others to sign up to the register, his ten year old daughter, Caitlin, has written a letter urging people to follow her dad's example.

She told BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire: "He was the best dad in the world... he always put other people before himself."
