Readers' photos on the theme Croatia.
Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week it is on Croatia and we begin with this image from Indy Hesketh of the Pula Amphitheatre in Istria.
Jane Lewis: "The Maiden with the seagull is a popular figure in the western Croatian town of Opatija. As you will see from this picture, she is happy to stand guard on the town in all weathers."
Bahadoor Pourkeyvan: "Croatian lifeguards were outnumbered by the number of people on the beach."
Nigel Walker: "The village of Draguc on Croatia's Istrian Peninsula."
Edin Tuzlak: "Marmontova street in Split."
Craig Jamieson: "Partly thanks to a delicious ice cream cafe, we set off a little later than anticipated to reach Croatia's famous Plitvice Lakes National Park. The lakes were beautifully smooth and turquoise in colour and the waterfalls were breathtaking."
Elizabeta Kopic: "Door of an old abandoned barn in the village of Orasac near Dubrovnik."
Bonnie Adcock: "Enjoying the beautiful colours of the sunset at The Sun Salutation in Zadar."
Adrianne Amri: "These are my two best friends on the Island of Rab in Croatia. It is a tourist information frame, old and clearly unused. After a tough cycle day it provided some light entertainment for us."
Sarah Rose: "A busker in Trogir."
Christopher Scott: "Sailing the Dalmatian Coast off the island of Hvar."
Ingrid Rois: "A stunning view from the fortress in the city of Hvar one summer afternoon. You can also see a few more of Croatia’s islands."
William Beck: "Taken while skipping along the Dalmatian Coast in the summer of 2011."
Sylwia Tantardini: "It was a beautiful stay with my wonderful family in Croatia. It's a fantastic country, with very kind and gentle people. They have a marvellous coast, incredible islands, a perfect climate."
And finally... a photograph by Pauline Richardson of Dubrovnik. The next theme is "Pinhole photography" and the deadline for your entries is 30 April.
