Readers' photos on the theme walls.
Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week it is "walls" and we begin with this taken by Ellie Watson near the Olympic Park in Stratford ahead of the London Olympic Games of 2012.
Mark Rogers: "The sea defence wall at Leasowe, Wirral, with the city of Liverpool in the distance - almost modern art."
Hugo Talbot: "Albanians demonstrate their love of dominoes with these eight-foot tall domino walls located beside one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes, Lake Ohrid."
Luke Edeson: "A photo of my fiancee 'levitating' in front of a wall in London."
Kel Kirkland: "This mural on the wall of the famous and exclusive Western Baths in Glasgow by a well-known Spanish artist appeared overnight - sadly, in only a few days, graffiti overtook the original artwork."
Gaetan Lepage: "Seeing the warm sun setting over the old city walls in Khiva was one of many wonderful sights as I travelled in Uzbekistan. The many curves and crenulations helped the archers defend the city in every direction if attacked. A clever and beautiful design."
Izabela Banasik: "This picture was taken last year during my holidays in Poland. It was taken in an old stables in Silesia province during a very sunny afternoon."
Michelle Raymond: "Taken in Colonia in Uruguay. The wall was offset by the bicycle."
Dimitra Nassimpian: "The amazing whitewashed walls of our hosts' house on the island of Paros, Greece."
Tacia Carlin: "Taken at the San Francisco MOMA (Museum of Modern Art)."
Ela Fraczkowska: "Walls in Barafundle Bay in Wales. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to live in this beautiful country."
Aurelie Four: "This picture was taken during a walk underneath Stockholm. The warm colours of the walls of this tunnel were a sheer contrast with the freezing temperatures outside."
Tim Platt: "A building facade bringing a splash of colour to New York City."
Lochlann Kerr: "I took this while strolling through the deserted backstreets of Banff in the Rockies."
Miles Coleman: "My friend Naomi in front of the beautiful coloured walls of the neighbourhood of La Boca, in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires. The walls got their distinctive colour from the Italian immigrants who first populated the area and decorated their homes by splashing them with whatever paint was left over at the shipyards."
And finally... a photograph taken in Paris by Ailsa McKean. The next theme is "hands" and the deadline for your entries is 4 June. If you would like to enter, send your pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org. Further details and terms can be found by following the link below this gallery.
