Your pictures: Shoreline
Each week, we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week, it is "shoreline".
Denise McLister: "This was taken in November on the shores of Lake Tekapo on the South Island of New Zealand. I was on a six-week road trip with my husband and it was pretty special to be there when the wild lupines were in flower all along the shoreline."
Mithun C Mohan
Mithun C Mohan: "A small boat doesn't keep him at the shore: he's taking life ahead."
Abi Goulding: "A beautifully calm day just south of the Lemaire Channel on the Antarctic Peninsula. These gentoo penguins were completely unconcerned about our group, allowing us to get some wonderful photos."
Graham Byfield: "This was in Hong Kong, at about 06:30, a couple of years ago. I just used my mobile phone. I didn't use a filter or adjust the colour afterwards."
Jeanette Teare: "All-washed-up fishing boats on the beach at Hastings, East Sussex. Just pure glorious seaside saturated colours."
Paul Harris: "Local residents on a Caribbean shoreline."
Jack Appleton: "Sunbathe: catching the Sun on the beach."
Sirsendu Gayen: "I took this picture of a hermit crab on Radhanagar Beach in the Indian territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands."
Rhian Evans: "Taken during a dive in Fathom Five National Marine Park on the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada. This is part of the hull of the schooner Charles P Minch (built in 1867). In October 1898, she was hauling lumber to Chicago when she was driven on to the rocky shore of Tecumseh Cove in Lake Huron during a storm."
And finally a picture by Esther Johnson. The next theme is "On your doorstep", and the deadline for your entries is 11 July.
