We've now finished posting news, travel reports, a regular weather forecast and the like for today; we'll do it again from 08:00 tomorrow.
Among today's stories:
- The managers of the port of Workington said its future was secure after millions of pounds of investment since Cumbria County Council bought the harbour;
- The Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, promised new efforts to free Wigton's John Armstrong and five other men who've been in jail in India since 2013;
- And Kirkby Lonsdale made a virtue out of a problem by converting what was the HSBC bank into a larger tourist information centre.
As always, if you want to pass on news you think we should know, or share a photo with the county, you can email them to us, send them using Twitter where we're @BBC_Cumbria or head to our Facebook page.
Have a very good evening.
