We've now finished posting the news, travel reports, a regular weather forecast and the odd other item that catches our eye, for today. Here's a reminder:
- We learned that £1m had been spent on plans to electrify the Lakes railway line to Windermere, before the proposals were scrapped;
- Cumbrian chemists have started offering a test for HIV that gives results in a minutes, as health officials try to reduce the number of late diagnoses;
- And police said a series of events around Carlisle to give young people something to do over the summer holiday, had produced a sharp drop in complaints about anti-social behaviour.
We'll be back from 08:00 tomorrow to do it again. As always, if there's news you think we should know or you want to share a photo you've taken in the county, let us know by sending an email, on Facebook or on Twitter.
Have a very good evening.
