has criticised Football League clubs for "scouting by DVD".

Millions of pounds is set to be pumped into a project that will see

major improvements made to road infrastructure in a South Derbyshire village.

The D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership has revealed that, following the signing of a deal with the Government, it will be investing heavily between 2016 and 2021 in the bid to build a bypass and bridge needed in Walton on Trent to help cater for new traffic created by the nearby Drakelow Park development.

Final piece of funding for Buxton’s Crescent project secured

after the final piece of funding needed was agreed.

The D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership have agreed to provide £2 million for the project as part of an investment package to boost economic growth across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

The union, which is protesting about working practices, says a pupil and a union member were hit by vehicles entering the school earlier this week. Both escaped serious injury.
