Derby head coach Darren Wassall has been reflecting on the Rams' play-off heartache against QPR ahead of tomorrow's game against Hull.

Apology ends widow's fines 'nightmare'

Joan Johnson has been speaking about her relief that her driving fines ordeal is finally over. 

"It's been a nightmare," the 87-year-old said. 

"I couldn't put it out of my mind. It's difficult to relax and forget about it. I'm jolly glad it's over - hopefully."

Derby widow gets parking fines apology

An 87-year-old widow from Derby who was threatened by bailiffs for driving offences linked to a car she had sold has received an apology.

Joan Johnson received the first of about 12 parking and speeding fines, totalling more than £1,000, in 2014.

Now the court has contacted Ms Johnson to confirm all enforcement action has been stopped.

'Mental health just as important as physical health,' MP says

Amanda Solloway's cousin committed suicide aged 36 and she's been telling BBC Radio Derby about the importance of keeping mental health in the public eye. 

"People are looking at mental health as important as physical health," she said. 

"The great thing is having Alistair Burt (Minister for Mental Health) here who I know feels exactly the same way.
